“Growing up on fields and courts, I have always been interested in fitness and athletics. My career journey began as a secondary interest in college and evolved into a passion for systems and solutions to help others reach their goals. Graduating from DePauw University with a degree in Kinesiology I became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Specialist in Sports Nutrition through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). I am currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and have applied for a Master’s program in Sports and Performance Psychology. I approach training from a biomechanical, nutritional, and psychological perspective whether you are a competitive lifter or someone just starting your journey.
As a former college athlete I learned that team and community establish a welcoming and inclusive environment that is vital to sustained success. Using this same approach with clients provides a close-knit group that pushes all members to a more accountable and positive lifestyle.
While it may be easy to cut corners and take the path of least resistance, I push my clients and myself to go into the untraveled corners because that is where the most success is found. Goals are important, but learning to appreciate the process and creating a plan leads to the health and lifestyle you have always wanted!”
